Blue Cross Charity

Our school council, which consists of seven students, have been meeting over the last couple of weeks to discuss plans around raising money for Charity.

After much deliberation, the decision was made to focus our charity fundraising for this year on the wonderful and local Blue Cross.

The Blue Cross do outstanding work to rehome abandoned/abused animals whilst also supporting those that are injured and sick.

We spent time deciding how best to raise money for the Blue Cross. We had some fantastic options from all our school councillors, which led us to finalising our decision on a bake sale and ‘muddy’ obstacle course.

Plans are currently being put in place, ready for the warmer months, for our obstacle course and we hope that nearer the time we will be able to invite you all to come and support us, maybe even take part as well as sharing our just giving page.

We would like to thank our school councillors for working hard this half term as they have had a big job to complete which has included meeting Yarrow Heights board of directors.
