What an incredible day out in London for our 12 KS4 pupils! Starting with a train ride to Waterloo, we explored some of London's most iconic sights including the London Eye, Westminster Abbey, and Parliament Square.
The highlight? A guided tour through the Houses of Parliament where we learned about its fascinating history, including the fire of 1834 and Westminster Hall's role in the Queen’s lying-in-state.
We had a fantastic lunch at the Jubilee Café, then went up to the public gallery to watch a debate in the House of Commons before meeting Darren Paffey MP for an insightful Q&A session.
A great day of learning, exploring, and making memories!
