About us: Yarrow Heights School is a mixed SEN day school, providing an integrated therapeutic model for pupils aged 7-16 whose needs cannot be met in mainstream provision. We work in partnership with local authorities and parents to provide the right social, sensory and educational framework to allow children to flourish who might otherwise be unable to attend school. Our unique model offers an Enhanced Curriculum across an Extended Day, and our in-house therapy team provide a personalised plan for each child.

About the role: We are looking for an experienced Family Therapist to provide specialist advice and support to our young people and their families. We are looking for a highly motivated and innovative individual with extensive clinical experience working with children and young people with emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties. The successful candidate needs to be able to manage, plan and prioritise their own clinical caseload and will work closely with our family liaison team working both on school site and in the community supporting families.

About you: Our ideal candidate is likely to already have experience in this kind of setting, or working with vulnerable children and young people

We are looking for someone who is a team-player, has a friendly, calm disposition, and bags of energy. They will have a creative and proactive approach to problem-solving underpinned by resilience and excellent communication skills. You will need experience in accurate report writing and be able to liaise with parents, staff and most importantly our pupils.
