About us: Yarrow Heights School is a mixed SEN day school, providing an integrated therapeutic model for pupils aged 7-16 whose needs cannot be met in mainstream provision. We work in partnership with local authorities and parents to provide the right social, sensory and educational framework to allow children to flourish who might otherwise be unable to attend school. Our unique model offers an Enhanced Curriculum across an Extended Day, and our in-house therapy team provide a personalised plan for each child.
About the role: We are recruiting for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our Therapy team. We are looking for enthusiastic, caring, and enthusiastic people to become an integral part of our therapy team. The successful candidate will join our multi-disciplinary team, which may suit someone experienced with working with children and young people with emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties. They will be required to work closely with our other Speech and Language Therapists and other professionals providing support to students and reporting to the Head of Therapy.
About you: Our ideal candidate is likely to already have experience in this kind of setting, or working with vulnerable children and young people.
The successful candidate will be registered and will hold BSc Speech and Language Therapy or a profession specific equivalent qualification.
We are looking for someone who is a team-player, has a friendly, calm disposition, and bags of energy. They will have a creative and proactive approach to problem-solving underpinned by resilience and excellent communication skills. You will need experience in accurate report writing and be able to liaise with parents, staff and most importantly our pupils.

42 weeks a year
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 DOE

- 08:00am to 16:00pm
